# RefSheet — keep this copy

Pack many character screenshots into a few contact sheets for Imagine, ChatGPT Images, Gemini, or any other image model.

This folder is **yours**. It does not need SuperGrok, a Grok account, a server, or Node.js. Combining images happens entirely in your browser. Your photos never leave the device.

## Use it offline (computer)

1. Keep `index.html` somewhere safe (Downloads, USB drive, cloud folder).
2. Double-click `index.html`, or right-click → Open with Chrome / Edge / Firefox / Safari.
3. Drop your images, then download the PNG sheets.

No install. No internet after the file is on the machine.

## Use it on a phone (Samsung / iPhone)

**Easiest:** host the file once (free, below), then open that link and Add to Home Screen.

**Without a host:**

1. Get `index.html` onto the phone (email it to yourself, Files app, USB, Drive).
2. Open it in Chrome or Samsung Internet.
3. Android sometimes opens HTML as text. If that happens, use a free host instead — it takes two minutes and works better.

## Host it yourself (free, recommended)

Upload **only** `index.html` (this README is optional). Any static host works.

### Netlify Drop (fastest)

1. Go to [https://app.netlify.com/drop](https://app.netlify.com/drop)
2. Drag this folder onto the page
3. You get a public HTTPS link
4. On your phone, open the link → browser menu → **Add to Home screen**

No account required for a quick drop. The site stays up on their free tier.

### Cloudflare Pages

1. Go to [https://pages.cloudflare.com](https://pages.cloudflare.com)
2. Create a project and upload this folder
3. Use the `*.pages.dev` URL they give you

### GitHub Pages

1. Create a GitHub repository
2. Upload `index.html` (and this README if you want)
3. Settings → Pages → Deploy from the `main` branch
4. Open `https://YOURNAME.github.io/REPO/`

### Any web host / your own domain

Copy `index.html` into the public folder (often `public_html` or `www`). Point the domain at that folder. Nothing else to configure.

## What you do **not** need

- SuperGrok or any Grok subscription
- Node, npm, Docker, or a terminal
- A paid host
- An account in this app
- A backend, database, or API key

There is no monthly bill for RefSheet itself. Free static hosting is enough.

## Privacy

Images are read in the browser and drawn onto a canvas. They are not uploaded anywhere by this file. Refresh or close the tab and they are gone.

## If something fails

| Problem | Fix |
| --- | --- |
| Page is blank when opened as a file | Use Chrome or Firefox, not an old in-app browser |
| Phone shows the HTML as code | Host it (Netlify Drop) and open the https link |
| Copy to clipboard does nothing | Normal on `file://`. Use **Download** instead |
| Cells look small | Turn **Auto-split** on, or raise output size to 3K / 4K |

## Group shots

Select an image → **Focus one person**. Tap a detected person or draw a box. The sheet uses only that crop so other people do not confuse the reference. This is a crop, not a full “delete everyone else” edit.

Attach up to three exported sheets and refer to cells by number: *face from 03, outfit from 11*.
